Fiscales de la Unidad Especial de Investigación (UEI) presentaron ante jueces de control de garantías a dos hombres que harían parte de estructuras armadas ilegales involucradas en crímenes de líderes sociales en Tarazá e Ituango (Antioquia).

La Fiscalía imputó a Darwin Alexis Vásquez Correa, alias El Flaco, los delitos de homicidio agravado, concierto para delinquir agravado; y fabricación, tráfico, porte o tenencia de armas de fuego, accesorios, partes o municiones.
Este señalado integrante de la organización criminal ‘Los Caparros’ habría participado en el asesinato de Mabel Sandra Banda Meneses, líder social y presidente de la Junta de Acción Comunal del barrio El Paraíso de Tarazá (Antioquia), perpetrado el 30 de agosto de 2020. ‘El Flaco’ actualmente cumple condena de nueve años de prisión por otros hechos delincuenciales y permanece privado de la libertad.

La víctima era delegada del Comité de Obras, Deportes y Sustitución de Cultivos en Ituango, y fue interceptada por hombres armados que le propinaron varios disparos. ‘Machín’ fue imputado por los delitos de homicidio agravado; y fabricación, tráfico, porte o tenencia de armas de fuego, accesorios, partes o municiones.
Actualmente, esta persona permanece privada de la libertad por otro proceso que se sigue en su contra por concierto para delinquir y el asesinato de dos reincorporados.
